Tales of Herding Gods 牧神记
Qin Mu, the protagonist, was found as an infant by Granny Si on the banks of the Surging River, mysteriously held aloft by the corpse of a woman. The village chief named him "Qin Mu" based on the characters inscribed on a jade pendant found with him. Raised on the milk of a cow, he was born with an ordinary physique. However, the village chief deceived him into believing he possessed the legendary Overlord Body, leading him to cultivate the Overlord Body Three Elixir Technique.
Eventually, Qin Mu ventured out from the Great Ruins. He traveled to the capital city and enrolled in the Imperial College. After overcoming numerous trials, he rose to become the Cult Master of the Heavenly Devil Cult and was later appointed the first Grand Chancellor of the Imperial College by the Eternal Peace Empire.
During a rebellion within the Eternal Peace Empire, Qin Mu summoned devil gods, unleashing tremendous upheaval. He later accompanied Khan Wu Ke into the Loulan Golden Palace, where he single-handedly defeated all opponents within the Sacred Palace, proving himself invincible there, incapacitating countless great shamans, and making off with innumerable treasures.
Upon returning to the Eternal Peace Empire, he aided the Imperial Preceptor in quelling the rebellion, entered the capital to assassinate the Crown Prince, and constructed the formidable Sun-Shooting Divine Cannon. Qin Mu eventually received the Human Emperor's inheritance, becoming the new Human Emperor.
Through a twist of fate, he met his biological father and uncovered the truth of his origins. With the assistance of figures from the Dao Sect's Little Jade Capital and others, he ushered in a grand era of reform for Daoist techniques and divine arts. Growing stronger step by step, Qin Mu stands as one of the Three Heroes of the Eternal Peace Reformation, fighting for the sake of all living beings.
